DataHouse provided the digital platform for the 13th Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture (FestPAC), the world’s largest celebration of indigenous Pacific Islander cultures. Held in Honolulu, Hawaii from June 6th to 16th, 2024, FestPAC brought together thousands of artists and performers from over 27 Pacific Island countries and territories.

Hosting a large-scale international event with diverse participants necessitates meticulous planning, especially when coordinating logistics for delegations spanning 27 island nations. Efficiently managing complex event processes, including registration, accommodation, and attendee tracking, is crucial for ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.

DataHouse proposed developing a comprehensive event management solution consisting of two main components: a web admin portal for organizers and a web app for attendees. The portal offers robust tools for event creation, attendee management, logistics, and team coordination. The web app provides a user-friendly platform for attendees to register and access event information.

Create and configure events with comprehensive details – timelines, capacities, payment options, and informative descriptions. All this information automatically populates the public landing page for seamless user experience.
Streamlined Attendee Management
Manage all attendees, including general participants and delegates. For delegates, the portal offers dedicated features like registration assistance and visa support.
Accommodation Management
Simplify accommodation arrangements for delegates. The portal allows them to register their information and submit special requests, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay.
QR Code Check-In
Utilize the built-in screener tool to efficiently manage attendee check-in for events and activities using QR codes.
Volunteer & Media Coordination
Effortlessly manage your event’s support network. Assign tasks to volunteers and media personnel directly through the portal.
Implementation
Developed web and mobile apps that offered a single point of access for all event-related information and management tools.
Built features within the apps for streamlined registration, check-in, and tracking of attendees.
Integrated functionalities for managing participant housing assignments and communication with hotels/accommodation providers.
