Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect with over 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The Software Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative IT solutions for our clients, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects. 

Main Accountabilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet their needs and objectives. 
  • Design architectural solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and reliability, to address complex business challenges effectively. 
  • Develop detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans to guide development teams and ensure alignment with architectural standards and guidelines. 
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams. 
  • Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for performance improvement, proactively addressing any architectural issues or concerns. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within time and budget constraints. 
  • Assess potential impact on existing architecture and recommend strategic initiatives. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, promoting knowledge sharing, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or related field. 
  • Strong proficiency in designing and implementing complex IT solutions using a variety of technologies and platforms. 
  • Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, security, performance optimization and best practices. 
  • Experience with modular architecture, microservices architecture and other architecture 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and be familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. 
  • Experience with DevOps practices, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
